Senior Electrical Project Engineer - Data Centre

Salary - €60,000 - €110,000 depending on experience

Lead the charge on mission-critical Data Centre projects! Our client, an award-winning design engineering consultancy, is hiring multiple Senior Project Engineers (Electrical). You will take complete ownership of the electrical design and delivery of complex projects, driving technical excellence and mentoring emerging talent.

This is a high-impact role requiring deep expertise in electrical building services, specifically within the demanding Data Centre and mission-critical sectors.

Key Role Details:

• Sector Focus: Data Centre & Mission-Critical Building Services
• Key Responsibilities: Full design ownership (MV/LV power distribution, lighting, fire/life safety systems), project/budget management, technical leadership, and client/contractor liaison.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 8+ years in electrical building services design, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Data Centre/Mission-Critical projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Strong design and specification skills for LV/MV power, standby systems, and earthing.
• Standards: Expertise in IEC, CIBSE, BS, IS, and EN Standards.
• Software: Experience using ETAP, Amtech, or Dialux for calculations, alongside AutoCAD/Revit MEP.
• Professional Status: Chartered Engineer (or actively working towards Chartership).
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and communicate complex technical information effectively.
