Responsibilities
SHEQ & Compliance:
- Promote Safety First culture and ensure all SHEQ standards are understood and implemented across sites.
- Assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of construction phase plans, H&S files and project-specific quality plans.
- Ensure subcontractors are pre-qualified and verified before commencing work.
- Review safety, environmental and quality documentation for adequacy and compliance.
- Coordinate and participate in project pre-start / pre-commencement meetings.
- Conduct regular site SHEQ audits and prepare weekly reports.
- Liaise with clients, regulatory representatives and internal stakeholders as required.
- Support statutory, ISO and management system compliance across all live projects.
- Provide coaching and guidance to project teams to reinforce best practice and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Experience
Required Knowledge and Skills:
- DIP OHS or equivalent SHEQ / safety qualification.
- Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety best practice.
- Understanding of quality and environmental management principles.
- Experience working with ISO management systems (ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO 14001).
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to influence, support and challenge site teams to continually improve SHEQ performance.
- German language skills are required for our current works in the Frankfurt area.
Experience:
- Previous experience in a SHEQ role within the construction sector.
- Experience delivering SHEQ audits and working with subcontractor compliance.
- Prior involvement in site-based operational support within a fast-paced construction environment.
- Fluency in English
