Quantity Surveyor | Limerick


We're partnered with a leading Irish engineering and building services contractor, backed by one of Europe’s most established construction groups, to appoint a Quantity Surveyor for their Limerick office.


This organisation delivers mechanical, electrical and integrated engineering solutions across healthcare, education, commercial and technical environments, working with a number of well-known public sector and institutional clients across Ireland.


They have built a strong reputation for quality delivery, long-term client relationships and a collaborative working culture, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to grow their commercial career within a highly respected contractor.


The Role


The successful candidate will support the commercial delivery on a variety of refurbishment, fitout and minor capital works projects, typically valued between €200k - €500k, with occasional projects up to €5m.


Projects are delivered for major public sector organisations, healthcare estates and leading universities, providing strong exposure to a diverse portfolio of work.


You will work closely with the Contracts Manager and Lead Estimator, supporting quotations, cost control and commercial management across multiple fast-paced projects.


Key Responsibilities


  • Preparing quotations based on site surveys and client enquiries.
  • Supporting the commercial management of live projects.
  • Assisting with valuations, variations and cost reporting.
  • Liaising with engineers, site teams and project managers.
  • Supporting the preparation of commercial documentation.


Ideal Background


  • Estimator looking to transition into a Quantity Surveying role.
  • Intermediate Quantity Surveyor seeking responsibility across a varied range of projects for national clients.


Experience within construction, fit-out or building services environments would be advantageous.
