We're partnered with an international specialist contractor to appoint a Senior Quantity Surveyor on a major data centre fit-out project in Madrid. This is a high-profile, fast-paced scheme within the mission-critical sector, offering the opportunity to work on technically complex projects for global clients.

The Role:

You will take commercial responsibility for a large-scale data centre fit-out package, working closely with project teams to ensure financial control, risk management, and successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing all commercial aspects of the project from procurement through to final account
• Preparing and managing budgets, forecasts, and cost reports
• Subcontractor procurement, negotiation, and management
• Assessing and valuing variations, claims, and change control
• Supporting project delivery teams with commercial insight and cost advice
• Ensuring strong contractual compliance and risk mitigation
• Liaising with clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders

About You

• Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor / Senior QS within construction
• Strong background on data centre, mission critical, or large-scale technical projects
• Experience managing subcontract packages and complex commercial environments
• Solid understanding of contract forms and commercial processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
