The Mission

I am currently representing a leading consultancy that is spearheading one of the most ambitious data centre developments in Europe. We aren’t just talking about a standard build; this is a 700MW hyperscale project in Finland.

We need a BIM Engineer who doesn't just "do" 3D modeling but understands the "how" and "why" of complex MEP systems within a live construction environment. You will be the bridge between design and reality, ensuring this digital twin becomes a physical powerhouse.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Leading MEP Coordination: Managing complex Mechanical, Electrical, and Piping models to ensure zero clashes before boots hit the ground.
• On-Site Impact: While you can be based anywhere in Europe, you’ll be the "boots on the ground" in Finland when the project hits critical milestones. You need to be comfortable walking a site and seeing how the model translates to the build.
• Consultancy Excellence: Acting as the technical authority for the client, ensuring standards are met and the 700MW vision is delivered with precision.
• Data-Driven Delivery: Managing COBie data, asset information, and 4D/5D integration where required.

What You Bring to the Table

• MEP Pedigree: You come from a Mechanical or Electrical background. You understand the guts of a data centre—cooling loads, power distribution, and the spatial constraints that come with them.
• Construction Hardened: You’ve spent time on-site. You know that what looks good on a screen doesn't always work in the field, and you know how to fix it.
• Technical Arsenal: Expert-level proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360/Autodesk Construction Cloud.
• Right to Work: You must already hold the Right to Work in the EU/UK. My client is unable to provide visa sponsorship for this specific mandate.
• The "Finland Factor": You are willing and able to travel to Finland as needed. (Expect crisp air, great coffee, and a world-class project site).
