Senior Mechanical Project Engineer - Data Centre

Salary - €60,000 - €110,000 depending on experience

Take the lead on mission-critical Data Centre projects! Our client, a design engineering consultancy, is seeking multiple Senior Project Engineers (Mechanical). You will own the mechanical design and delivery of complex projects, driving innovation and mentoring the next generation of engineers.

This is a high-impact role requiring deep technical expertise in mechanical building services, specifically within the demanding Data Centre sector.

Key Role Details:

• Sector Focus: Data Centre/Mission-Critical Projects
• Key Responsibilities: Full mechanical design ownership (HVAC, cooling, fire protection, piping), team leadership, client/vendor liaison, budget management, and quality assurance.

What You Bring:

• Experience: 8+ years in building services, with a minimum of 3 years focused on Data Centre/Mission-Critical projects.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Technical Expertise: Strong design and specification skills for cooling systems (CRAC/CRAH, AHUs), ventilation, and fire suppression.
• Standards: Expertise in CIBSE, ASHRAE, BS, IS, and EN Standards.
• Software Proficiency: Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office.
• Professional Status: Chartered Engineer status (or actively working towards it).
• Soft Skills: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and communicate effectively with clients and multidisciplinary teams.
