With a strong reputation across sectors including Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Data Centres and High-Tech Manufacturing, the business is known for delivering technically complex fit-out and turnkey solutions to global clients.

Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team on a key project in Tipperary.

THE ROLE

This is an excellent opportunity to join a high-performing commercial team, supporting the delivery of a pharmaceutical fit-out project.

You will gain exposure across the full commercial lifecycle, working closely with senior commercial leadership and project teams to ensure successful project delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support the commercial management of projects from pre-construction through to final account
• Assist with cost planning, budgeting and financial reporting
• Prepare and manage subcontractor packages, procurement and valuations
• Monitor project costs, variations and change management
• Support the preparation and agreement of interim valuations and final accounts
• Work closely with project teams to ensure commercial objectives are achieved
• Assist in managing contractual and commercial risks

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline
• 2+ years’ experience in a Quantity Surveying role (construction / fit-out / M&E / contractor environment)
• Strong commercial awareness with a proactive approach
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
