Planning Engineer – Spanish Speaking

📍 Madrid Office Based with Site Visits

We're working with a leading international contractor delivering some of Europe's most exciting Data Centre, Pharmaceutical, Cleanroom and High-Tech Industrial projects.

Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Planning Engineer to join their expanding team.

The Role

You'll be responsible for developing, maintaining and monitoring project programmes from tender through to completion, working closely with project delivery teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Primavera P6 project programmes
• Produce tender, baseline, target and recovery programmes
• Monitor progress against programme and critical path
• Identify delays, risks and mitigation strategies
• Prepare weekly and monthly programme reports
• Work closely with Project Managers, Commercial and Site teams
• Coordinate procurement, design and construction activities
• Support successful delivery of major construction projects

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a Planning Engineer or Project Planner
• Strong Primavera P6 experience
• Main contractor construction background
• Experience within Data Centres, Pharmaceutical, Industrial or Commercial projects
• Excellent programme management and communication skills
• Degree or equivalent in Construction, Civil Engineering or related discipline (preferred)
