We’re recruiting for a rapidly expanding Datacentre Group delivering major projects across Europe and the UK. Backed by significant private equity funding and led by a vastly experienced senior leadership team, this organisation is building state-of-the-art technical infrastructure.

This is genuinely a career-defining opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, agile environment and wants to work for an organisation where decisions are made quickly and autonomy is encouraged.

A Unique Opportunity

  • High-impact role reporting directly into senior leadership.
  • Fast-growing developer with a flat structure, high trust culture and real autonomy.
  • International remit spanning London, Madrid and Amsterdam - with a pipeline of further European projects.
  • Bespoke, complex developments where quality, commercial rigour and innovation are fundamental.
  • Long-term progression, with the expectation this role will develop into a leader of other Commercial Managers as the portfolio expands.
  • Supportive, expert team - including some of the most experienced technical and development specialists in the market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide professional in-house commercial management for major projects.
  • Lead tender preparation, procurement, contract drafting and negotiation.
  • Manage budgets, cashflows, valuations, cost reports and financial statements.
  • Ensure contract compliance and manage change orders, variations and risks.
  • Support capital programme budgeting and business case development.
  • Conduct project assessments, forecasts and maintain accurate financial control.
  • Work collaboratively across all project stakeholders, ensuring quality, compliance and commercial best practice.
  • Assist with pre-acquisition due diligence and early development planning.
  • Ensure newly constructed facilities meet budget, customer expectations and company standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years in a commercial or cost management construction role.
  • Strong commercial acumen and financial management skills (budgets, contracts, forecasting, procurement).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication - able to produce clear, articulate reports and engage confidently with senior decision-makers.
  • Emotionally intelligent - adaptable and able to “roll up your sleeves”.
  • A proactive, hands-on mindset with the ability to operate effectively in a growing, agile environment.
  • Solid understanding of development risk profiles and early-stage “at risk” project work.
