Site Manager / Junior Project Manager

Location: Midlands / Limerick (Site-Based, Project Dependent)

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Site Manager / Junior Project Manager to join our growing team, supporting the successful delivery of construction projects from execution through to handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate day-to-day site activities to ensure safe and efficient project delivery
• Supervise subcontractors and site teams
• Ensure works are completed in line with drawings, specifications, and programme requirements
• Monitor site progress and productivity, identifying and addressing any delays

Health & Safety

• Ensure full compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Conduct site inductions, toolbox talks, and safety audits
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks

Planning & Programme

• Support the maintenance of the project programme
• Assist with short-term planning and lookahead schedules
• Communicate any risks or delays to the wider project team

Quality & Delivery

• Ensure all works meet required quality and compliance standards
• Support inspections, snagging, and project closeout activities
• Contribute to delivering high-quality installations with minimal rework

Commercial & Reporting

• Assist with cost control by monitoring labour and materials
• Support tracking of variations and site changes
• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation
• Utilise project management systems for reporting and coordination

Stakeholder Management

• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors
• Attend site meetings and contribute to project updates
• Build and maintain strong working relationships

About You

Essential:

• Degree or trade background in Construction or Engineering
• Experience in a site-based role (e.g., Site Engineer, Foreman, or similar)
• Strong organisational and communication skills

Desirable:

• Experience in pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or regulated environments
• Familiarity with project management or site reporting software
• Understanding of project management principles
