Estimator - Off Site Manufacturing

We’re partnered with a leading specialist contractor delivering complex projects across data centres, cleanrooms, life sciences and advanced manufacturing environments throughout Ireland and Europe.

They’re currently looking to appoint an Estimator to join their Off-Site Manufacturing division in Dublin.

The Role

You’ll be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for off-site manufacturing and prefabricated building services packages across a range of mission-critical and technically demanding projects.

Working closely with preconstruction, design, procurement and operations teams, you’ll play a key role in supporting tender submissions and helping drive commercially successful project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates and tender submissions for off-site manufacturing projects
• Review drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Liaise with design, engineering and procurement teams to develop competitive pricing strategies
• Source and evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations
• Identify value engineering opportunities and cost-saving initiatives
• Support bid reviews, commercial assessments and risk analysis
• Maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and clients

Requirements

• Previous experience in an Estimator role within construction, M&E or manufacturing environments
• Experience with off-site manufacturing, modular construction or prefabrication is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong IT and estimating software capabilities
