Lead Site Delivery on Major Mission-Critical Projects

An established specialist contractor delivering high-value data centre projects across Europe is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee site operations on fast-paced mission-critical developments.

This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on construction professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys taking ownership of site activities from mobilisation through to project completion.

Working closely with Project Managers and wider delivery teams, you will be responsible for ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As Site Manager, you will coordinate day-to-day construction activities across complex CSA fit-out packages within hyperscale and mission-critical environments.

Typical scopes of work include:

• Raised access flooring systems
• Internal wall and partition installations
• Structural and suspended ceiling systems
• Hot Aisle Containment (HAC) installations
• Architectural and specialist fit-out packages

You will act as the key point of coordination on site, ensuring subcontractors, suppliers and internal teams work collaboratively to achieve project milestones.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing daily site operations and construction activities
• Coordinating subcontractors and specialist trades
• Monitoring programme progress and addressing potential delays
• Conducting toolbox talks and promoting a strong safety culture
• Ensuring compliance with health, safety, quality and environmental standards
• Supporting inspections, snagging and project handovers
• Maintaining accurate site records, reports and documentation
• Collaborating with project teams to ensure seamless project delivery
• Utilising digital construction platforms to track progress and manage project information

Working as Part of the Project Team

You will work closely alongside Project Managers, Supervisors, Logistics teams, Health & Safety professionals, QA/QC personnel, BIM specialists, Engineers and Commercial teams.

Success in this role requires excellent communication skills, strong organisation and the ability to maintain momentum across multiple work fronts while ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned.

Candidate Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

• Previous experience as a Site Manager, Senior Supervisor or Construction Supervisor within construction, fit-out or mission-critical environments
• Experience delivering data centre, industrial, pharmaceutical, cleanroom or technically complex projects
• Strong understanding of site health & safety requirements and quality assurance processes
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades simultaneously
• Experience monitoring programme delivery and resolving site issues proactively
• Familiarity with digital construction management platforms and reporting systems
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• Fluent English language skills
• Additional European language skills would be advantageous but are not essential
