Commercial Director - Data Centre Startup - Europe

The Role

Commercial Architect & Problem Solver. This role is the nerve centre for the business's commercial operations, demanding a blend of strategic vision and tactical execution. They need someone who can immediately "get stuck in" - setting up processes, navigating complex initial phases, and tackling urgent problems.

While your mandate will eventually transition to a more steady-state, day-to-day role, your initial focus will be on the build-out phase.

What You'll Bring

• Mandatory Data Centre (DC) Experience: You must have a proven track record working within the data centre industry, understanding the unique commercial and operational challenges of the sector.
• Commercial Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead, build, and manage a commercial function from scratch.
• Start-up Acumen (Desirable): Experience in a start-up, scale-up, or high-growth environment is highly beneficial. You must be comfortable with ambiguity, resource constraints, and a fast-paced environment.
• Strategic & Tactical: The ability to develop a long-term commercial strategy while simultaneously executing tactical, immediate-need tasks.
• European Mobility: This role is Europe based and may require travel as we expand our footprint.
